Order states

• Pending. Made but not paid. A cart reservation holds the stock for fifteen minutes; an order you made by hand holds it for 48 hours.
• Paid. The money is confirmed by the payment provider. Stock is now truly gone, the invoice exists and the confirmation mail has been sent.
• Cancelled. Stopped by you or by the buyer before payment. Stock goes back.
• Expired. Nobody paid in time. Stock goes back by itself; no action needed from you.
• Refunded. Money returned, fully or in part. Stock returns to the batch it came from and a credit note is made.

Every step is written to the order's timeline with a time and a name, together with every mail sent. Nothing changes silently.

Tabs

The order list has tabs for the work: To ship, Pickup, Waiting for stock and Awaiting payment. Your dashboard counts the same things, so you can start your day there.
