Order states

Payment

• Pending. Made but not paid. A checkout holds the stock for the time set under Settings, Orders, Reserve during checkout for. An order you make yourself holds it for Hold stock for.
• Paid. The payment is confirmed. The stock is sold, the invoice exists and the confirmation mail has gone out.
• Canceled. Stopped before payment. The stock goes back.
• Expired. Nobody paid. The stock went back when the hold ran out; the order leaves your list after Cancel the order after.
• Refunded. All the money went back. After a partial refund the order stays Paid and shows as partly refunded.

Shipping

Processing, Shipped, Ready for pickup, Picked up and Delivered. A paid pre-order shows Waiting for stock until its stock arrives.

Activity

Every step lands under Activity on the order, with the time and who did it, together with every mail sent. Send again resends a mail; Add note adds your own line.

Tabs

Orders has the tabs All, To ship, Pickup, Storage, Pre-orders, Awaiting payment and POS. To ship puts the order paid longest ago at the top. Your dashboard counts the same work, so you can start your day there.
