Your first week
The order to set things up in, from an empty shop to your first sale.
A new shop starts on Nobody yet, opening soon: visitors read your announcement while you set up. Work down this list, then open.
The basics
- Settings, Company. Company name, registration number and address, plus your VAT number if you have one. No invoice is made until these are filled in.
- Settings, Branding. Your logo (a dark and a light version), the favicon and the share picture.
- Settings, Tax. Your default VAT rate. The prices you type always include VAT.
- Settings, Games. Switch on the games you sell.
What you sell
- Stock, Suppliers. The wholesalers and people you buy from.
- Products, Sets and Categories. A category is what a thing is (booster box, pack, deck). A set is the release it belongs to.
- Products. Add sealed product by hand, or import a spreadsheet.
- Cards. Singles and slabs. Scan them with your phone.
- Stock, Purchases. What you bought and what it cost. Stock comes from purchases, and so does your margin.
Money and shipping
- Apps. Connect Stripe or Mollie.
- Settings, Shipping. The countries you ship to and your shipping methods.
- Apps, MyParcel or Sendcloud. Optional: labels from the order page.
The shop itself
- Pages. Read the legal pages and make them yours. Build your homepage in the page editor.
- Settings, Mail. Read the mails your buyers get. Send test to me puts one in your own inbox.
- Billing in your Ripshop account. Start your trial.
Open
- Settings, Availability. Choose Everyone. See open your shop.
