Customer accounts
Guests, accounts, and signing in with Google or Twitch.
Buyers can order as a guest or make an account. Settings, Accounts, Customers can register and log in: switched off, your shop runs guest-only.
An account holds a buyer's orders, invoices, points and storage. When someone makes an account with the email they used as a guest, their earlier orders join it once they confirm that address.
Google and Twitch
Buyers can also sign in with their Google or Twitch account. Each is an app you set up once: see Sign in with Google and Sign in with Twitch. Both need customer accounts switched on.
Staff
Staff accounts do not sign in on the shop. You and your team sign in at /admin/login on your shop's address.
Deleting an account
A buyer can delete their own account from their details. Their name, contact details and address are removed. The orders and invoices stay, without a name, for your bookkeeping.
