Pickup
For buyers who come to collect their order.
Set it up
Settings, Shipping, Add shipping method, and set Type to Pickup.
- Price. Zero, or what you charge for it.
- Where and when. Your address and opening hours. Buyers read it at checkout and in their mail.
A pickup method needs no countries, and a buyer who picks it types no address.
The flow
The buyer's order confirmation says you will mail them when it is ready to pick up, never that it ships. Its words are the template Order confirmation: pickup under Settings, Mail.
Paid pickup orders are under the Pickup tab in Orders, and on your dashboard as To prepare for pickup.
- Ready for pickup mails the buyer that it is waiting, with where and when.
- Picked up once they have been. No mail goes out for this step.
