The OBS overlay
Put the queue on your stream in a few steps.
The overlays are small web pages that show who is being ripped now, who is next and who is waiting. They update by themselves the moment the queue changes.
Adding them to OBS
- Rip & ship, Live, press Configure, then Set up overlays.
- Under Look, pick a Style: Styled is our card; Plain text is text only, in your own color and font, over a background of your own in OBS. Queue length sets how many rows the queue shows.
- Copy the link of each part you want: Now opening, Up next and Queue. Each one is its own browser source, so you place them where your scene wants them.
- In OBS: Sources, +, Browser. Paste the link and use the size shown with that part. Every part is 420 wide, so they line up under each other.
Streamlabs and most other streaming software have the same browser source.
Safe on stream
The overlays show only the buyer's name on stream (or their first name, when they gave none) and what they bought, with pictures. Never an address, an email, an order number or a total. A big order on Now opening shows a few products and a line with how many others there are.
Now opening carries a small "Powered by Ripshop.io" line.
If it stops updating
Right-click the source in OBS and choose Refresh. If a link may have been shared, press Renew links on the Overlays page: the old links stop working at once, and you paste the new ones into OBS.
