How rip and ship works
The three ways a buyer can take an order, and what each means for you.
While you are live, checkout asks the buyer How would you like your order?
- Ship right away. You send it sealed.
- Live rip + ship. You open it on stream and ship the cards afterwards.
- Live rip + keep. You open it on stream and keep the cards. The buyer saves up orders and pays shipping once, from their account. See storage.
For both rip options the buyer can fill in a Name on stream, the name you call out.
The two rip options only show while you are live. The rest of the time your shop sells as an ordinary shop.
In your admin the same three read Ship directly, Rip + ship and Rip + store. Ripped orders join your live queue by themselves, in the order they were paid.
