Terms of service
The terms under which Ripshop provides its platform to shop owners.
Versión 1.5, 21 de octubre de 2026
These terms apply to every shop on Ripshop.
1. Who we are
Ripshop is a trade name of MoeskerGroup, Carstensdijk 77, 7916 RA Elim, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 97344567 ("Ripshop", "we"). Our current contact details are at the bottom of every page.
You are the person or company that opens a shop on Ripshop ("the shop owner", "you"). You use Ripshop for your business, not as a consumer. By opening a shop, or by asking us to open one for you, you accept these terms.
2. What Ripshop is
Ripshop is a webshop and rip & ship platform provided as a service. It includes:
- a shop on your own Ripshop address, and on your own domain if you connect one;
- an admin to manage products, stock, purchases, orders, customers, invoices and shipping;
- the rip & ship features: the live queue, the overlay for streaming software, and storage of buyers' pulls;
- hosting, security updates, backups and support by email.
What each plan includes is shown on the pricing page.
You decide what you sell, at what price, to whom, and under which terms. Ripshop is not a party to any sale between you and your buyers.
3. Your account
You sign in with one Ripshop account for all the shops you own. You give us a working email address and keep your company details, VAT settings and shop texts accurate. You keep your password to yourself, turn on two-factor authentication (connecting a payment provider and inviting staff need it), and are responsible for everything that happens under your account and the accounts of the people you invite. Tell us at once if you think an account has been compromised.
4. Trial, plans and payment
- A new shop starts with a trial of the plan you pick, for the number of days shown on the pricing page. You add a payment method through Stripe when the trial starts. During the trial no monthly fee is charged, and you can stop at any time without paying one. The commission in section 5 applies during the trial as well. Seven days before the trial ends we email you what you will pay from when, and how to cancel.
- After the trial the plan you picked applies. Plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly as you choose, to the payment method you added, in the currency shown on the pricing page and excluding VAT.
- A shop gets one trial. A shop that stopped and starts again pays from the first day.
- You can switch plans at any time. A bigger plan, or a move to yearly billing, starts at once and the difference is billed or settled on your next invoice. On a yearly plan, a smaller plan or a move to monthly billing starts when the paid year ends.
- Payment provider fees on your buyers' payments are charged by the payment provider under your own contract with them, not by us.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for up to two weeks while your shop keeps selling, and we email you. If it is still unpaid after that, the subscription ends and your shop is closed to buyers until you start a plan again under Billing in your Ripshop account. Orders and data are kept during a closure.
5. Payments from your buyers, and our commission
- Your buyers pay through Stripe or Mollie, whichever you connect under Apps in your admin, on your own contract with that provider. The money is paid into your own account with them.
- On every payment your shop takes through Stripe or Mollie (online, by QR code at the counter, or on a Mollie terminal or Tap) we keep a commission: a percentage of the amount paid, set by your plan and shown on the pricing page, excluding VAT. The provider withholds it from the payment as an application fee, so it comes out of what you receive and is never added to your buyer's price.
- Sales you take in cash, on a card terminal of your own that does not run through Ripshop, or mark as paid yourself carry no commission, and neither do orders from TikTok Shop.
- The commission is not returned when a payment is refunded.
- In the first days of each month we send you one invoice for the commission of the month before, from both providers. The commission itself was already withheld, so it counts as paid; the VAT on it is charged to the payment method of your subscription or, without one, is due within fourteen days. A business elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number is reverse charged.
- Refunds, chargebacks and disputes with buyers are between you, your buyer and the payment provider; we help with the tools to handle them.
6. Your responsibilities towards your buyers
You are the seller. That means you:
- sell only lawfully and only what you are allowed to sell, and hold the stock you sell or have it on order;
- comply with consumer law: clear prices including VAT, delivery times, the right of withdrawal, warranty and your own terms of sale;
- tell buyers clearly what rip and ship means: that a product they choose to have opened on stream is opened at their request and cannot be returned sealed, and what happens to their pulls;
- ship, hand over or store what was paid for, within the time you promised;
- handle your buyers' personal data lawfully and only for running your shop;
- follow the rules of a sales channel you connect, such as TikTok Shop's seller terms, which are between you and that channel;
- answer your buyers' questions yourself. Ripshop does not provide customer service to your buyers.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Ripshop to:
- sell counterfeit, stolen or illegal goods, or goods you do not have and do not have on order;
- run raffles, gambling or games of chance that are not allowed under the law that applies to you;
- send unsolicited mail, scrape other sites, or attack or overload our systems or anyone else's;
- upload content you have no right to, or content that is unlawful, hateful or misleading;
- resell access to Ripshop, or copy the software.
We may remove content or close a shop that breaks these rules, after a warning where a warning is reasonable.
8. Availability, maintenance and support
- We aim to keep every shop reachable at all times. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can, and try to schedule it outside stream hours.
- We do not guarantee an uninterrupted service. Faults are fixed as fast as we reasonably can, faults that stop sales first.
- Support is through Support in your Ripshop account, or by email. We reply within one working day.
- We may use the ideas and feature requests you send us freely, without any obligation to you.
- We may change or retire features. A change that materially reduces what you get is announced at least thirty days ahead.
9. Your data and ours
- Everything you and your buyers put into your shop (products, texts, images, customers, orders) is yours. You give us the right to host, copy, back up and display it as needed to run the service.
- The Ripshop software, its design and its name are ours. You get a right to use them for as long as your shop runs, nothing more.
- We keep backups of the platform for disaster recovery. A backup is not a substitute for your own export.
- When your shop ends, you can export your data for thirty days. After that we delete it, except what we must keep by law.
10. Personal data
For the personal data of your buyers you are the controller and we are the processor. The data processing terms in the annex below are part of these terms. How we handle your own data as a shop owner is in our privacy policy.
11. Liability
- We are liable for direct damage caused by a shortcoming on our side, up to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event, per year in total.
- We are not liable for indirect damage: lost revenue, lost profit, lost data that you could have exported, or claims from your buyers.
- These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.
- You indemnify us against claims from third parties that arise from what you sell or how you run your shop.
12. Term and ending
- A shop runs for a month at a time, or a year on a yearly plan, and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your Ripshop account or by email; the shop then closes at the end of the paid period, and a period already paid is not refunded.
- We can end a shop with thirty days' notice. We can end it at once for a serious breach of section 6 or 7, for an invoice that is still unpaid thirty days after the shop was closed, or when we are required to by law.
- Sections 9, 10, 11 and 14 survive the ending of a shop.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. A change that materially affects you is announced at least thirty days before it takes effect, by email to the address on your account. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If we cannot solve a dispute together, the court of Noord-Nederland decides.
Annex: data processing
This annex applies to personal data of your buyers and other people whose data you process in your shop ("shop data"). You are the controller; Ripshop is the processor.
- Subject and purpose. We process shop data only to provide Ripshop to you: hosting the shop, storing and showing orders, sending the mails your shop sends, producing labels and invoices, exchanging orders, stock, prices and tracking with the sales channels you connect, and giving you support. We follow your instructions as given through the admin and these terms, and no others.
- Categories. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses of buyers; order and payment status; storage contents; account and login data of buyers who create an account; your shop's visitor statistics: per page viewed, a hashed session identifier, the page, the referring site, campaign tags in the address, the type of device, the country looked up from the IP address (the IP address itself is not stored) and the time; not who the visitor is, even when signed in.
- Duration. For as long as your shop runs, plus the thirty-day export period.
- Confidentiality. Only people who need access to run the service have it, and they are bound to confidentiality. We look at shop data only for support, to fix a fault, or when the law requires it.
- Security. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections, encrypted storage of secrets, access control, logging, backups, and timely security updates.
- Sub-processors. We use the sub-processors named in our privacy policy, for hosting, backups, email delivery, error reports, shipping labels and card recognition. We announce a new sub-processor at least thirty days ahead; you may object on reasonable grounds. A service you connect yourself, such as a payment provider, a shipping service or TikTok Shop, receives shop data on your instruction and under your own contract with it, and is not our sub-processor.
- Assistance. We help you respond to requests from buyers about their data, and to a data protection authority, to the extent you cannot do so yourself through the admin.
- Breaches. We inform you without undue delay, and at the latest within 48 hours, after we become aware of a personal data breach that concerns your shop data, with what we know at that moment.
- Location. Shop data is stored in the European Union. Sub-processors outside the EU are only used with a valid transfer mechanism.
- Ending. At the end of the shop you export your data; we then delete it as described in section 9. Backups are overwritten within their normal cycle.
- Audit. Once a year, on reasonable notice, you may ask us to show how we meet this annex. Where a report or certification exists, we provide that.
