How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with 14 days without its monthly fee, with everything in the plan you pick from the first day. The commission on payments through Stripe or Mollie applies from your first sale.
Why do you ask for a payment method up front?
You add one when you start, through Stripe: iDEAL, Bancontact or a card. The first monthly fee is charged after 14 days. With iDEAL, your bank confirms the account with a small payment that is refunded right away.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your plan starts and its monthly price is charged to the payment method you added.
What is the commission?
A share of every payment your shop takes through Stripe or Mollie, online or in your POS by QR code, Mollie terminal or Mollie Tap: 2% on Starter, 1.5% on Growth and 1% on Scale. It is kept from the payment as it comes in, from your first sale. Cash, a card terminal outside Stripe or Mollie and orders you mark as paid carry none.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices on this page exclude VAT.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time: log in at ripshop.io and open Billing in your account. A bigger plan, or paying yearly, starts right away. On a yearly plan, a smaller plan or paying monthly starts when your year ends.
Can I cancel?
Yes. There is no contract. In your account at ripshop.io, Billing opens Stripe's billing page, where you cancel your plan. It runs to the end of the month, or of the year on a yearly plan; a year paid is not refunded.
What happens to my data?
It stays yours. Export your products, orders and customers as a spreadsheet, and your invoices as PDFs, whenever you like. When your shop ends you have thirty days to take it with you: ask us and we send the whole shop in one file, database and uploads included.
Stripe or Mollie?
Your shop takes payments through either one. Stripe works in more countries and currencies. Mollie is for shops in a euro country that sell in euros. Their payment fees are theirs and come on top of your plan.
What happens when my marketing mails for the month are used?
Broadcasts and automations wait until the next month starts; nothing goes out half. We tell you when most of the mails are used, and a bigger plan sends more. Order mails, like confirmations and shipping updates, never count.
Do I need my own domain for email marketing?
Yes. Marketing mails leave from your own domain, apart from your order mails, so a newsletter never puts those at risk. Connect it under Settings, Domain in your admin.
Is there a yearly plan?
Yes. Pay for a year at once and 2 months of it are free. You choose monthly or yearly when you start, and can move to yearly at any time in Billing.
