Also built in

Everything else your singles and slabs need.

  • Slabs with their certificate

Sell a slab with its grader, grade and certificate number, and find it in your admin by that number. A PSA slab links to its certificate.

  • Japanese cards, English names

A Japanese card is listed, invoiced and found under its English name. The Japanese name sits under the title, so buyers can check the card in their hand.

  • Fix a wrong scan with a tap

When the scan is not sure, the card is marked. Tap it to see the other matches from the photo and pick the right one.

  • Keep scanning on bad wifi

If the wifi drops at a fair, your phone keeps the photos and sends them when the connection is back. No card is added twice.

  • Your margin on every card

Type what you paid for a stack. Ripshop spreads it over the cards by their price, so you see your margin on every sale.

  • Buy from private people

Turn on Bought from a private person for a stack, and its cards are sold under the margin scheme.

  • Restock a card with +1

Pulled another copy from a box? Press +1 on the card and it is in stock at what you last paid.

  • Sold-out cards keep their page

A card that sold out stays in your store as sold out, so links your buyers shared keep working.

  • Photo scans in every plan

Every plan has photo scans each month: 500 on Starter, 2,500 on Growth and 10,000 on Scale. Adding a card by name is never counted.

Questions about cards

The short answers. Everything else is in the help center.

Do I need a card scanner or an app?

No. Your own phone is the scanner: scan the QR code on your laptop, or open Add cards on the phone itself. There is no app to install and no scanner to buy.

I already have hundreds of singles. Do I have to type them all in?

No. Scan them with your phone, with no button to press between cards, or pick a set and tap each card you hold. One save puts the whole stack in your shop.

Does the scan recognize Japanese cards and slabs?

Yes. A Japanese card is recognized from its photo and goes in under the English name your buyers search for. For a slab, the scan reads the grader and grade. You type the certificate number.

What if the scan picks the wrong card?

Nothing goes into your shop until you save, so you check every card first. You fix a wrong match with a tap, and a card you can't find, you fill in yourself.

Where do the prices come from, and how fresh are they?

From Cardmarket, the prices your buyers know, and for slabs from eBay sales per grade. Ripshop updates the Cardmarket prices at night, starting with the cards you hold.

Not all my cards are Near Mint. Does that work?

Yes. Each copy has its own condition, Mint to Poor as on Cardmarket, and its own price. Market prices are Near Mint, so one button opens the card on Cardmarket in your copy's condition.

Does Ripshop change my prices?

No. Your price stays the one you set. Ripshop only updates the market prices beside it, so you decide when a card goes up or down.
