Pages
Your own pages, and the legal pages every shop starts with.
What a new shop has
Under Pages:
- Home. Empty and unpublished until you build it in the page editor.
- Rip & Ship: how it works.
- Shipping, Returns, Terms and conditions and Privacy policy. The legal pages: you can edit them, but not delete them or change their Web address.
- Withdraw from contract, in a shop in the EU. Your text stands above the withdrawal form. Its title and the form stay, and it is always published.
In an English shop the other legal pages start unpublished. The text is a starting point, not legal advice: read it, make it fit where you sell, then switch Published on.
Some facts fill themselves in: your payment provider, your currency and the tracking pixels you use. The legal pages end with your company details from Settings, Company.
A page of your own
New page, give it a title, save, then Open editor to build it. SEO on the same screen sets how it looks in Google.
Where a page is linked from is set in the menus: Theme, Menus in the page editor.
Change a page's Web address and the old one keeps working: visitors are sent on to the new one.
