Coupons and points

Both are on the plans that include them; a locked screen tells you which.

Coupons

Coupons, New coupon.

• Code. Type one, or let the sparkle button make one. Internal note is for you.
• Discount. Percentage (with an optional Maximum discount), Fixed amount or Free shipping.
• Applies to. Categories, sets or products. Skip products that are already on sale keeps deals out.
• Conditions. Minimum order, Max total uses, Max uses per customer (counted by account and by email), Only for this email, First order only.
• Validity. Starts at and Expires at. Active switches it off by hand.

A use counts once the order is paid. It comes back when an unpaid order is canceled or expires, not after a refund. Two buyers taking the last use at the same second is handled: only one gets it.

On a coupon, Duplicate copies it, View orders shows where it was used and Archive retires it.

Points

Settings, Loyalty, Loyalty points enabled.

• Name, singular and Name, plural. Call them coins, sleeves or anything that fits your shop. Add your own Icon.
• Points per unit of your currency spent, and the Value per point when spent.
• Minimum points to redeem and Welcome points on sign-up.

Buyers with an account earn points on what they pay for products and spend them at checkout. Spent points only leave their balance once the payment lands, so an abandoned checkout costs them nothing.

On a refund, points the order earned are taken back in proportion, and points spent on it come back in proportion.
